The Froggies vs The Kiwis

On Saturday the 13^th of June 2009 The All Blacks ran onto the famous rugby stadium known as Carisbrooke. The All Blacks were warming up getting ready to fight for there countries pride but brought shame to New Zealand by losing to France. It was a tough game both sides came out showing there full colours but there first five got a quick try half way between the left corner and the Posts. I mean come on France!!!  Rugby’s not even their national sport. The referee was bad but not bad enough to lose us the game. I can’t believe that they would let someone so inexperienced ref a Test match.

First Finals ever

Go the Chiefs. Last week the Chiefs made history they made there first finals ever in world history. The Chiefs just beat the Hurricanes 14-10. It was a brilliant game the Hurricanes were in it till the last minute. It was full time right by the Chiefs try line it was a scrum to the Hurricanes it was 14-10 if the Hurricanes got this try that’s it for the Chiefs game over Hurricanes go into the finals vs the Bulls but LUCKLY we got a penalty to us and we kicked the ball out and won the game 14-10.

Raglan rugby

1. On Saturday I played a game of Rugby. We were versing Raglan. They had half thier Team twelfth graders but we still won 19-0. I played lock for 25 minutes and then got swapped for Connor and played blind side flanker. I nearly got in a fight with there hooker because I ripped the ball off him. We had already won the game before we had even started because Raglan didn’t have enough players to make an 11 grade and a 12 grade team so they put the 11 and 12 grade people together.  That was not allowed but we made a deal with them we have won before we played them they still got to play rugby.

First Rugby Game Of The Season

It was my first game of rugby in a year. My position is lock.I played a good game on Saturday I got in the scrums and mauls, ripped the ball, ran good and turned the ball over in the line outs. We have a good team this year it is called the Scorpions. We won our first game about 39-5 against Kihikihi. We have a team of 21 We are all very determined to win and are great friends so we know when some one’s going to do something and that we should support him. Last year we came second in the whole competition losing in the finals to the wasps. We are a Te Awamutu Team in a Hamilton competition The Wasps are also a Te Awamutu Team. Shame on Hamilton!!! It was two T.A teams that came first and second in a Hamilton competition.

Back at school

Back at School it’s the first week back at School it’s been going alright better then last term. School is kind of cool the benefits are that you get to hang out with all your mates at one time. You can play sports at lunch time and you get to do cool topics like French or tech arts.

Wellington trip

Last week I went to Wellington for my camp we went to Lower Hutt Top 10 Holiday Park. On the way we went to Waiouru Army Museum and we got to see all the guns and medals and badges we used to have through those tough ages and I got to see my brother who is in the army. After about 8 hours we finally got to Wellington. We got dressed, had dinner and went to bed. The next morning we got straight into all the activities. First we went to the wild life sanctuary where we saw lots of native animals and cool things. Next we went to Weta cave. Weta cave is a place where it’s all about movies. The person who owns it is very famous for doing make up on a person, special effects,and lots more. He’s been involved in some movies such as Lord of the Rings, Brain Dead, KingKong, Gremlins, and lots more. The next morning we went on a ferry to Picton . But my favourite thing of all was the Soundhouse. We went to Capital E and came to a place called Soundhouse. What we did there was we used this software called acid pro 7 and made a song with anything we wanted. It could have been heavy metal, rock, melody or any thing you wanted and then we made a music video.
